About Me

I am an Indian-American (they/she) educator and researcher, born and raised on unceeded Munsee Lenape land, Poughkeepsie NY. Currently, I am based in LA on unceded territory of the Gabrielino-Tongva, Chumash, and Kizh peoples. I am a recipient of the Eugene V. Cota-Robles Fellowship which enables me to pursue a doctorate in Social Research Methods within the Education department at UCLA. Prior to attending UCLA, I worked as a Special Education middle & high school STEM teacher in NYC. I received my undergradute degree in Biochemistry from Vassar College and my M.A in Teaching General Education & Special Education from Relay Gradute School of Education.
